Hostess, Waiter/Waitress, Bus Boy and Hookah Attendant
JOB OVERVIEW
The Red Pelican Hookah Bar & Lounge is presently accepting applications for full-time and part-time employment as Hostess, Waiter/Waitress, Bus Boy and Hookah Attendant. Successful candidates must have strong customer service skills and possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and seat customers.
- Answer customer questions about hookahs, and make recommendations upon request (training will be provided)
- Answer customer questions about the food and drink menu and offer recommendations upon request
- Inform customers of daily specials
- Take customer orders and deliver to bartender and kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks to customers
- Prepare tables for service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station before and during service and at the end of shift.
- Provide a great customer experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Server / Restaurant experience
- Basic knowledge of food preparation
- Must speak English, bilingual a plus
- Must have legal working status
- Friendly with strong communication skills (listening and verbal)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Customer service skills
- An ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Strong memory
- Organized and efficient
- Team player
